Andrea Linnebach, LPC, CTP
Individual, Child, and Family Therapist
I received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southeast Missouri State University. I earned a Master of Arts in Education and a Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU). I received specialized training in play therapy and became a Certified Play Therapist (CPT) through MNU. I have fulfilled the qualifications to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Highly Qualified Professionally Licensed Kansas Educator with an English for Speakers of Other Languages endorsement. Additionally, I am a Certified AutPlay Therapy Provider who works with autistic and neurodivergent children and their families. I have also received training in Theraplay Level 1.
I have a passion for working with individuals, children, and their families. For over two decades, I taught elementary students in Shawnee Mission and Blue Valley School Districts. As a therapist, I use an integrated approach and tailor therapy to the needs of the individual client. When working with children, I believe that play allows for kids to better express themselves and help them resolve their issues and problems. Throughout the therapy process, I help children and their families navigate the complexities and difficulties of life. I believe empowering individuals to realize their full potential and establishing a solid, stable, and nurturing attachment foundation is key for healthy emotional and physical growth.
Family is important to me. My husband and I have been married for over 26 years. We have two daughters who are in college. At home, I love hanging out with our kitties, Squiggles and Zipper.
